With an elegant sway of a white tipped fin and brilliant yellow green flash of a scale you know you're encountering a water angel! The head is solid cast resin from my own sculpture and mold. While I make my dolls with durability in mind it should be noted if dropped they ARE fragile so please keep in mind this is a sculpture, not a toy when shopping for children. The paint job is clear coated to protect it from everyday wear and tear. The body is hand wrapped soft cotton batting over a galvanized steel wire braided core for years of posing enjoyment. She boasts triple hand stitched sequins to emulate scales. I try my best to capture the beauty and detail of each of my dolls in the photos but in this case they really don't do her justice. The head is heavy so the doll is best posed as the first photo indicates, emulating the stylized sculptural fountains that were my inspiration. Doll is completely hand stitched and designed by me.
